This position works directly with families, provides case management services, advocates for tribal members, conducts home visits, and helps ensure compliance with the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA).
Salary: Starting at $26/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Gwichyaa Zhee Gwich’in Tribal Government (GZGTG) is seeking a Housing Assistant to support the Housing Director with daily operations: streamline office workflow, handle confidential correspondence, manage calendars/travel, maintain records and accounts receivable, record meeting minutes, and submit HUD reports. Requires HS diploma, 3+ years administrative experience, strong communication/organization, and proficiency in Word/Excel.
Salary: DOE
Schedule: Part-time, Monday-Friday, 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Direct Employment Assistance Program
The purpose of the Direct Employment program is to provide financial assistance to eligible GZGTG tribal members to obtain and retain satisfactory part-time or full-time employment. Direct employment can assist with food, clothes, utilities, transportation to interviews or employment. Direct employment can also assist with work clothing or gear necessary to retain employment.

Scholarships (Higher Education & Adult Vocational Training)
The purpose of the GZGTG Higher Education scholarship program is to provide financial assistance to eligible GZGTG tribal members who are enrolled in an accredited college or university, and who can demonstrate financial need.
GZGTG Higher Education funds are a supplemental resource, applicants are required to apply to for available State, Federal, and private financial aid, and all available student-family resources, before funding from GZGTG will be considered.
