General Assistance & Workers Employment Programs
The General Assistance program is responsible for providing funds to qualified tribal members for specified basic needs (which may include food, clothing, shelter, and utilities, burial assistance may also be included as an essential need).
The Work Experience Program (WEP) allows tribal members with limited job seeking skills and work experience to gain actual experience under a training contract with an employer for up to a specified number of hours.
